In this video, Dr. Ryan Hill, Audiologist, app developer, author, and practice owner from Cincinnati, Ohio, introduces Rellax Tinnitus, an app-based tinnitus retraining therapy program designed to help patients gain more control over their tinnitus.
Rellax Tinnitus was developed for patients who may already use hearing aids to address the underlying causes of tinnitus but still need guided habituation training. It may also be helpful for individuals who do not have traditional hearing loss but continue to experience persistent tinnitus.
The Rellax Tinnitus app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The subscription-based version walks users through the therapy program, provides reminders, counts down therapy time, tracks monthly tinnitus scores, and shares progress data with their provider. The app also includes heart rate variability and sleep tracking, since stress management and quality sleep can positively impact tinnitus.
